Street children ministry:

            Out of one billion Indian populations, 400 millions are children and teenagers in those 18 million children are left without home. They are homeless and so dwell in pathways and street corners. 3.3 lacks of Indian children are dying out of hungriness and poverty. 2 million children die premature without seeing even their first birthday. 500,000 children are being utilized in the business of prostitution. 100 million children below 14 years are not sent to school and so they become child laborers to learn their living. Some become terrorists and the most wanted criminals.

Child marriages are popular in India… In India more than five million girl children are being killed by parents for the fear of dowry and finance at the time of marriage and 8.9% girl children are married even before 13 years and 23.5% girls are married at the age of 15 and 50% before 18 years. Many become rude, rough and carelessly handled by the miscreants of the society. They make use of them in the business of prostitution, sex abuse, terrorist activities and prohibited practices of drugs smuggling and killing for money. Due to bad and evil companionship they become addicted to unwanted practices; cinema plays a vital role in drifting these kids. We go in search of these children, counsel them, convey them with Christ's love and try to bring them to the cross.

We meet children forsaken by family members and teenagers addicted to drugs and alcohol. Some are neglected by the society because, they are criminals made by poverty. We meet them with Christ's love and promises and explain his great sacrifice on the cross and bring them to his fold. We must get them ready to meet the soon coming Jesus Christ.

What we do?

• Explain the love of Christ and make them realize their stand in Christ.
• We meet them continually in the same place, worship god with songs and chorus of praises.
• We encourage them to have a regular bible study and prayer life. We also teach them that “cleanliness is next to godliness”
• We encourage them to lead of life of holiness and perfection by the infilling of the Holy Ghost.
• We encourage them to hear god's voice.
• We teach them a systematic intercessory prayer for their families, friends and neighbors; encourage them to be witnesses among them.

Educational Support

The objective is to fund and sponsor the education for children. Every year we select some poor Children and help them for their Studies. We specially treat the children whose parents are affected by HIV-AIDS disease; we are sponsoring Uniform Dresses, Notebooks, Text books and School fees. Through this program, a donor can sponsor the education of an underprivileged child. Donor will be provided with the details of their sponsoring children. Your donation can make a difference in the child’s life. Real education enhances the dignity of a human being and by becoming a Sponsor, you are giving a better tomorrow for the child.

Mrs. J. Kiruba, Suresh’s wife, is co-founder of Lion of Judah Ministries’ executive board. Kiruba working as a Assistant Professor in college. She values the importance of family in today’s society and has a passion to faithfully and excellently fulfill the tasks God has given her. Kiruba provides the concepts for of Lion of Judah Ministries events. Currently she lives at her working place in Tamilnadu, India. She is the only one blessed daughter to her parent. Mr. K. Babu Gnanaraj is vice-chairman of Lion of Judah Ministries’ executive board. Babu Gnanaraj is runs the Lion of Judah office in Chennai also working with his home church. He is married to my own sister S.P.Nirmala, a teacher in school.

Mr. J. Sathishkumar & Mrs. Vandhana Sathish is the fourth member of Lion of Judah Ministries’ executive board. Sathish Kumar is co-coordinator of the Lion of Judah HIV/AIDS project in Coimbatore & also Both are Working as a Assistant Professor in the college, Coimbatore city.

Dr. K. Vijay & Dr. Iniya Vijay is the Advisor and the seventh member of Lion of Judah Ministries’ executive board. both are senior dentist & Directors of Jai Dent multispecialty dental Hospital, Kovilpatti.

Mr. D. Sriramkumar is the Fund raising officer of Lion of Judah Ministries’ executive board, at Kuwait.

Mr. C. A. Jesudasan is the Prayer Coordinator of Lion of Judah Ministries’ executive board, at Kovilpatti.

Thirupathi Balaji is treasurer and the sixth member of Lion of Judah Ministries’ executive board.

Suthakar is the seventh member of Lion of Judah Ministries’ executive board.

Mr. S. Sundarraj is the Spiritual Advisor of Lion of Judah Ministries’ executive board. Mr. Sundar is director of Tamil Discipleship Training School & from last 20 years he is serving God with Youth With A Mission, Padappai, chennai.

Mr. T. Isaac is the Spiritual Advisor of Lion of Judah Ministries’ executive board.

The executive board members draw no salary or remuneration whatsoever from Lion of Judah Ministries.
